My brother took me here during my visit to Salt Lake City, knowing I love a great burger, great beer and the tavern scene. Lucky 13 easily gets 5 stars for all three categories. I loved the atmosphere of the old time saloon. Their beer menu was great, with several local choices on tap as well as many more in bottles or cans. Burgers were big, bountiful and very well priced. My brother and I shared the pastrami Swiss burger and the stinky bacon burger. Both were cooked to juicy perfection and very filling. The deep fried pickles were a great starter too. Utah fry sauce is awesome as well!

Lucky 13 in Salt Lake City is a must-visit for burger lovers! I tried the Celestial Burger, which was absolutely out of this world, and my fiancé got the Bacon Stinky Cheeseburger with buffalo sauce, packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. The parking and seating are a bit limited, but they have outdoor heaters that keep you warm if there's a wait, making the experience more comfortable. The cozy vibe inside adds to the charm, and the friendly staff knows their stuff, offering great recommendations to help you pick the perfect burger. Can't wait to return!

Service: 5 Ambience: 4 (atrue burger joint) Cheeseburger: 4 Fries: 4 I am a tough grader. A 5 means the subject in question is among the best of its kind, but I don't cross-compare. That means a '5' for a diner is among the best diners but is not compared to something like a Michelin Star restaurant. A 4 means it is in the top 20% of similar items that I've enjoyed in my life. A 3 means it was good without any significant detractions. A 2 and it just wasn't worth it. A 1 means it's worth suing over! ;)

We recently visited Lucky 13 with a group of six and had a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt well taken care of, thanks to our exceptional waiter, Jake. Jake was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything, despite our larger group. As for the food, it was outstanding! We ordered the chicken fried steak and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The chicken fried steak was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of seasoning, and the chilaquiles had a great balance of flavor and texture. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their dishes. Their hot sauce was super good, I recommend it! Thanks to Jake and the whole Lucky 13 team, we had a memorable meal. Highly recommend if you're in the area--definitely ask for Jake if you want top-notch service!

Loved this place! I am partial to burgers. I acknowledge my bias of really liking burgers (I think it's because in high school, my dad took us to get burgers every weekend and it's such a treat). Lucky 13 is so unassuming that it really did pleasantly surprise me. Fellow Yelper Daniella B recommended it (also my HS friend). I got the regular burger and the portion is generous. Everything was just generously portioned, well-flavored, well-seasoned, well-cooked. I loved their fries too. I also think the value (food taste/quality to price point) was really good. The ambiance is like a bar-esque atmosphere, casual, nothing amazing, but I weigh the food and value so much more. Bathrooms from what I can remember is pretty clean. They had a small parking lot for guests. I learned this coming here - it's very common to need to show ID in Utah eateries.

This was THE place to meet up for a burger before hitting a baseball game or the nearby haunted house. Now that the ball field is moving, Lucky 13 might be a different type of place. That remains to be seen. Regardless of what's nearby, you can find a solid burger here. It's a sports bar vibe, with high top tables, large screen TVs playing different sporting events and high energy all around. If you're into spicy fry sauce, be sure to try their "tractor sauce." It's just the right combination of flavor and spice, not too over the top. And not a hint of tractor to it, I might say.

The vibes were chill, but it apparently gets busy on Saturday nights. The service was just okay - it was obvious that our waiter was pre occupied. The Celestial Burger was ah-mazing! Not a single bad thing to say about it.

Definitely a Utah classic, must eat for anyone who considers themselves a burger enthusiast. The servers are always quick, polite, and well versed in the menu. I was personally so impressed and pleased with the accommodations they provided when we mentioned we were splitting a burger. When our food arrived it was two baskets with a half burger and fries. That little bit of convenience was SO nice. Parking is pretty limited and difficult, and there's lots of unhoused in the area - that's honestly the only drawback of the place.

My sister and I had just landed and looking for a good burger place. Lucky 13 was the winner. It is a dive bar, I guess. but all in all, you will need to show ID but apparently that is Utah's law. Buck was the hostess and he was AMAZING!! we asked for the recommendation for his favorite burger. My server, Lupe, was kind. Just know that allll the drinks are HUGE. The burgers were HUGE. I ordered the Old Man which is with jalapeños, green onion and Swiss cheese. The jalapeño weren't that spicy so don't freak out too much. There's bar seats, interior seats and patio seating. The parking lot is a bit small but there's street parking as well.

After work late lunch: Pastrami Swiss Burger, rings and a stein of Black lager. Sweet way of closing a day of work.
